A View Home in the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada

Squamish is situated halfway between Vancouver and Whistler, a 45 minute drive to either destination. View Place Vacation Home, tucked into the Smoke Bluff foothills above the town of Squamish, looks out to the magnificent estuary of the Howe Sound. From the living room one can see The Stawamus Chief, a precipitous 2000' granite wall famous among rock climbers. Mountain bikers like to test their "metal" on the numerous and challenging bike courses in the foothill forests of Squamish.

River and sea kayakers have endless opportunities to enjoy their sport here with white water rivers offering challenging courses or salt water paddling the quieter waters of the Howe Sound in early morning. Salmon, trout and steelhead can be fished in the lakes, rivers and streams only minutes away. Three beautiful golf courses offer stunning vistas. Great access to Whistler skiing or Vancouver museums or nightlife for half the price on accommodation. For those with a thrill for high action sport, a trip to the world class windsurfing "spit" on the Squamish waterfront is a must.

A Tour of View Place

Remodeled in recent years, View Place has an open spacious feeling with the living spaces flowing into one another and surrounded by gorgeous views in every direction. The bedrooms are private and comfortable. On the main floor there is a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a medium sized study with a double futon, and a small room with a single bed. The downstairs view bedroom with sliding glass doors opening to the patio has a new queen-sized sofa bed.

The patio, with its beautiful view of the Howe Sound and Chief Stawamus, is complete with hot tub, table and chairs, gas grill and herb garden.
